This delightful hardy cultivar, has beautiful upright maroon-red/brown leaves that make it a welcome additon to well-drained rockeries or beds. They can grow to around 1.5 metres in height although they are unlikely to reach this height unless planted in the ground for many years. When smaller, they make a perfect container plants. Like all phormiums, they need well-drained, well-watered soil.
